With the season over half way through it is time to look forward to end of season renovation.
Would you like to have improved performance from your wickets next season ? would you like your wickets to have more pace and consistent bounce ?- or would you like us to take the hassle out of the end of season renovation ?
If you have been doing the work yourselves at the club – or whether you haven’t done all the work necessary and would like the wickets to perform better – why not let our experienced team carry out your end of season work.
We will carry out the following procedures for you
- Mow the cricket square on a low setting
- Heavily scarify the wickets
- Clean all the surface with the appropriate motorised equipment
- Spike the Square with a sarel roller
- Apply grass seed and brush in
- Apply loam and lute in
- Apply Autumn fertiliser
Grass seed that is used is a rye mix manufactured for cricket
Clubs use different loam – so we will use the loam you have used before or it will be dependant on your geographical area
The team have all the equipment required to improve your wickets performance.
The work must be carried out after the season and there will be a window of opportunity to allow the seed to germinate so BOOK EARLY
The cost of all of the above , including loam , will be approx £282 Per Wicket inc vat- There will be a transport cost which will be in the region or 45p per mile from London. The final cost will be confirmed following a visit or subsequent call and cost of loam

Paul from Cartwrights Sports have been undertaking groundsman duties at Old Elthamians CC for the past 5 years.
