Description
The county cricket matting is designed for either indoor or outdoor use and this hard wearing needlepunch cricket mat offers superb consistency in bounce if laid on a suitable surface. It can be installed permanently or be used as a portable mat and with very low maintenance. It can be expected to last up to 10 years dependent on wear and tear and maintenance.
Needlepunch mats are durable and hardwearing and are created by layering staple polypropylene fibres to the required weight , then needing them to the correct density.
The indoor and outdoor cricket matting can be used as a full 30m wicket, batting ends or multiple cricket bays and with non directional 6mm pile it is porous and extremely durable.
Depending on the surface we would recommend a shock pad to be installed under the matting – please choose from the shockpads available or call the office for more advice. It is important a shock pad is installed on certain surfaces to ensure consistent and acceptable bounce.
The matting comes in variable lengths and in widths of 2m 0r 2.74m. Weight of the matting is 1.6kgs per sq metre
Bonded glue or galvanised nails can be used to secure to the surface.
